Notes about Audacity,

    You may need to add 'lame' to enable the ability of Audicity to work with MP3 files.
    Fomats, there are ALOT of Audio formats.  If you can you should use OGG for your compressed sound files.  And WAV or FLAC for your uncompressed Audio formats
    A user reported problems with Monitoring your recording as your recorded.
    I used version 1.3.4, which is a beta, there are a few differences, one known one is there is not counters on the bottom of the window.
    Audacity doesn't seem to have the ability to create surround sound, or doby digital ?

I am sure I missed some, but that is what I remember for now!
